Contra dance FRIDAY Night
Don’t miss our second Contra Dance party with our favourite band Mercat Cross, in the centrally located Sunalta community hall. Join old friends and new faces for an evening of easy contras, laughter and live music. Come out and experience how much fun partner dancing can be. No experience and no partner needed, just show up with dancing shoes, a smile and a water bottle. If you’re looking for something different to do on a Saturday night, bring a friend or many or yourself and don’t miss out on having this much fun.
This is a social and inclusive event with the emphasis on playful dances and a relaxed good time. Calling will be gender-free.
Doors are a 7:00 with a brief beginner introduction at 7:15. The dance starts at 7:30. It's a good idea to be there for the first few dances as it will help you get oriented.
Our last dance sold out, so get your tickets early.
Ticket sales ($15 earlybird - $22.50 regular) are online ahead of the event (click here). There may be a limited number at the door, but don't count on it.
